Our bot

Last updated: September 2026

This page identifies the crawler operated by UXR SpA. If one of your servers received traffic from one of the user agents listed below, this is the operator — not an unrelated entity, and not a bot impersonating another one.

On-demand, not continuously running

This is the single most important fact for deciding whether to allow us: the crawler is NOT continuously indexing your site or running in the background. Every crawl happens because one of our customers explicitly requested a one-off analysis. Outside those moments, no traffic from us reaches your server.

User agents

We send two user agent strings, both pointing at this page:

uxr-platform-scrapibara/1.0 (+https://uxr.cl/bot)
usuaria-schema-validator/1.0 (+https://uxr.cl/bot)

What we honour

  • robots.txt, including the Crawl-delay directive.
  • Per-host throttling: we cap the request rate per server, with jitter to avoid predictable traffic patterns.
  • A per-customer concurrency cap, so a single analysis can't fan out into a burst of simultaneous requests.
  • Exponential backoff on errors or slow responses.
  • A circuit breaker that stops hitting a host that is failing, instead of retrying indefinitely.

How to block us

If you'd rather we didn't access your site, add this to your robots.txt:

User-agent: uxr-platform-scrapibara
User-agent: usuaria-schema-validator
Disallow: /

About source IPs

We do not publish a list of source IPs. Our outbound infrastructure is shared and IPs change without notice — a published list would go stale silently and give a false sense of control. Use the user agent or robots.txt to identify or block us, not IP addresses.

What we are not

We do not identify as, and are not affiliated with, any other crawler — search, AI, or otherwise. The two user agents above are the only ones we operate.
